What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you personally. calcovelabs.com is a static site: there are no accounts, no forms, and no login. We run no advertising pixels on this site – no Google Ads conversion tag, no Reddit pixel, no social trackers.
Three things do happen automatically:
- Audience measurement. We use Google Analytics to count page views, so we can tell whether anyone is finding the site and which pages are useful. It is not used to build an advertising profile of you. This only sets cookies if you accept the banner – see below.
- Hosting logs. Our host (Firebase Hosting, operated by Google) records standard server request data such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used to serve the site and to diagnose faults.
- Web fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads.
Cookies and your choice
Analytics storage is switched off by default. Until you press "Accept all" on the banner, Google Analytics sets no cookies and cannot identify you across visits – it receives only anonymous, cookieless signals that let us estimate overall traffic. Pressing "Accept all" allows analytics cookies; pressing "Reject all" keeps them off.
Either way, the site stores one local preference recording your answer so you are not asked again. No advertising cookies are set under any circumstances, because there is no advertising technology on this site.
To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will reappear on your next visit.
